Alabama gives you a long season and plenty of heat. What it does not give you is dry air. From Mobile north to Huntsville, dew points sit in the low 70s for weeks at a time through July and August, afternoon storms roll through and leave everything steaming, and the nights rarely cool off enough to dry a canopy out. A plant set outside in April can still be running in October, so season length is not the limiting factor here. Moisture is.
That one fact drives most of the decisions you will make. Dense indica colas that would be a prize in a dry climate turn into a bud rot problem in the Black Belt by the middle of September. Growers who do well down here either finish early, run a greenhouse with real airflow, or choose structure over sheer density.
Outdoors or in a hoop house, look at open, airy flower first. The Classics & Haze cuts and the sativa leaning Daytime Sativas carry the loose bud structure and stretch that lets humid air move through a plant instead of sitting inside it. Hybrids with some haze in the background usually finish cleaner than a short heavy indica in an Alabama September.
Indoors the calculation flips. Once you control the room you can chase whatever you like, and that is where the dense material earns its keep. Gas and OG and Dessert and Candy both do well in a sealed room with a dehumidifier honestly sized for a Gulf Coast summer, which usually means larger than you first thought. If this is a first run, start with Easy To Grow and learn the room before you spend a season on a finicky pheno.
Heat is the other tax. Attics, garages and uninsulated sheds in Alabama push past what a plant can transpire against in July, and you will see foxtailing and stalled growth long before you see leaf burn. Plan the cooling before you plan the lights.

We ship Monday through Wednesday only. That is deliberate. A box leaving on a Thursday can sit in a depot over the weekend, and a rooted clone spending three extra days in a dark trailer arrives as a problem rather than a plant. Alabama is a reasonable run from the nursery, but the further a parcel travels the more that timing matters, so late week orders are held and go out at the start of the next week. Everything is rooted before it leaves. We do not ship unrooted cuttings.
