Cannabis Clones for Sale in Louisiana

Flat $40 a clone, rooted, shipped Monday to Wednesday

The subtropics change the whole calendar

Louisiana does not run the standard northern outdoor schedule and growers who try to force it lose plants. Summer here is a wall: dew points in the mid 70s for weeks, night temperatures that stay in the upper 70s, sixty inches of rain a year in much of the state, and afternoon thunderstorms most days in July and August. Plants do not rest at night because it never cools, and dense flower in that environment rots before it finishes. The people who do well here treat spring and fall as the real seasons and treat July as something to survive.

A practical Louisiana approach

Many growers here run an early cycle, putting rooted plants out in late February or March and finishing in June before the worst of the wet heat, then a fall cycle timed to finish in November when humidity finally drops and nights cool. Day length near 30 degrees latitude peaks around 14 hours, which is less summer light than the Midwest gets, and plants read the shorter photoperiod accordingly. That is why an outdoor plant here can start showing flower earlier than the same cut would up north.

What survives

Salt, storms and standing water

Anywhere south of the Interstate 10 corridor you are dealing with salt air and, in a bad year, storm surge and wind. Hurricane season overlaps directly with outdoor flower. Have a plan to move containers under cover or to strap down a greenhouse, and accept that a September storm can end a season. Coastal soil can carry sodium; if leaves are burning at the tips and edges without a feeding explanation, salt is a likely culprit. Rainwater is abundant here and catching it is easy, which solves a lot of water quality issues for free.

Pests

The mild winters mean insect pressure never fully resets. Spider mites, thrips, caterpillars and whitefly all overwinter. Scout weekly, inspect every incoming plant, and quarantine anything new for a week before it joins a room.
