Nevada growing comes down to two problems, and neither of them is mould. In the south, afternoon highs above 105 are routine for weeks at a time and overnight lows in July often stay above eighty, so plants never get the cool recovery period they use to reset. In the north around Reno and the high desert valleys, days are hot but nights fall away fast, which is easier on plants but shortens the usable season considerably.
The second problem is what comes out of the tap. Southern Nevada water is among the hardest in the country, heavy in calcium and carbonates, and it will push your feed pH up and leave scale on everything. Many serious growers here run reverse osmosis and build their nutrient profile back up from scratch. If RO is not an option, at least test, then adjust for what is already in the water rather than feeding as if it were neutral.
Dry desert air means rot is rarely the issue, so dense flower is on the table outdoors, which is not true in most of the country. The trait to prioritise instead is heat tolerance. Sativa leaning and landrace influenced material generally handles high temperatures better than heavy modern indica, which sulks and airs out at the top when it is too hot. Our Classics & Haze shelf is a good hunting ground for that, and Daytime Sativas for the same reason. For a first run in a new yard, Easy To Grow is the honest recommendation, since those cuts tolerate a missed watering better than most.
Indoors is a different calculation. Cooling load in a Nevada summer is real and expensive, so a lot of growers here run their heavy indoor cycles from October through April and keep summer light and simple. Those cooler months are the right time for Gas and OG, Dessert and Candy and anything from Pheno Hunted that deserves a controlled room.
A rooted clone that has been in a dark box for a couple of days is soft. Do not put it straight into full desert sun. Give it filtered light or shade for three to five days, keep the medium consistently moist, and let it build up. Most Nevada losses happen in that first week, not later.
We ship Monday through Wednesday only so nothing sits in a depot over a weekend. Everything leaves rooted from our own room. Transit time matters more the further a box travels, and in a July heat wave it is worth waiting for a Monday send rather than pushing a shipment out on Wednesday.
Every clone is $40, minimum order $200, exactly five strains. All 854 are on the shop page.
