The retail side of this site is built for a grower filling a tent. This page is for everyone else: licensed cultivators planting fields, indoor operations turning rooms on a schedule, and retail and hydroponics stores that want live clones on the shelf.
Commercial orders are priced separately from the $40 retail number, quoted per order, and cut to order rather than pulled from what happens to be standing.
Single orders from a few hundred plants up to 20,000, rooted in house. We are not brokering that out to a third party and reselling it to you, which matters, because a brokered order is one where nobody can tell you what the mother was tested for.
Larger than 20,000, or a standing monthly commitment, is worth a conversation rather than a quote form. We would rather tell you what we can genuinely hold than take the order and miss the date.
The bigger version of this: we grow a block of mothers specifically for you, and we cut only your plants to fill your orders. It can be built from a cultivar in our catalogue or from a cut you send us.
The reason to do it is consistency. On a normal order you get our working cut of a cultivar. On a dedicated block, every plant in every delivery for the next two years comes off the same mothers, so the plant you approved in year one is the plant you are still planting in year three. Nothing drifts between cycles because nothing changed.
It also changes the scheduling. Standing up a block is the long part; once it is standing, repeat cycles come off plants that already exist, so the second order and every order after it moves considerably faster than the first.
If you send us your own genetics, it is quarantined and lab tested before it goes anywhere near production. If your cut comes back positive for HLVd we will tell you and stop, rather than propagating it and handing you back ten thousand infected plants with your own name on them. That is worth finding out about one plant rather than the whole block.
Your block is held for your orders and not cut for anybody else. Tell us the cultivar, the annual volume you expect and how many cycles a year you run, and we will lay out what the block needs to be and when it can start producing.
Six to eight weeks from a confirmed order to the first delivery. That is not padding. A clone that is going into a field has to be cut, callused, rooted and hardened off, and rushing any part of it produces the plants everyone complains about: soft, stretched, and three weeks behind from the day they go in the ground.
Bring us your plant date and we will work backwards from it. Large orders can be staged across multiple deliveries so you are not trying to put 15,000 plants in the ground in one afternoon.
A dedicated mother block is a longer runway than that for the first delivery, because the mothers have to be grown out before anything can be cut off them. We will give you that date before you commit to it, not after. Every cycle after the first is quick, because the block is already standing.
Commercial pricing is quoted per order. What moves the number is volume, how many different cultivars you want across that volume, whether you want a dedicated mother block behind it, and how much notice you give us. A single cultivar at 10,000 with a ten week runway is a very different job from twelve cultivars at 800 each with a hard date in five weeks, and it would be dishonest to publish one number covering both.
We do not run a published price list that gets undercut by a phone call. You get the same schedule anyone else with your volume and timeline gets.
All 854 strains are available commercially, but a field is not the place to find out that a cut is temperamental. For volume plantings we will steer you toward cultivars with a predictable finish window, even structure and a yield that holds up outdoors, and away from the finicky dessert phenos that need babysitting.
Big Yielders and Easy To Grow are the sensible starting points for acreage. Hash & Rosin is where to look if the run is going to wash. If you already know your cut, we will quote it.
Every mother we cut from is lab tested for hop latent viroid. At retail volume an infected cutting costs a grower one plant. At 10,000 plants it costs a season, and it does not announce itself until week six of flower, when the whole field is already in the ground.
This is the single most expensive thing a commercial buyer can be sold cheaply, and it is the reason the lowest quote is often the worst one. How we keep stock clean.
We supply live rooted clones to licensed retail and hydro shops for resale. Orders arrive labelled per strain with the cultivar, type and flowering window on the tag, so your staff are not guessing at the counter and your customers are not buying an unmarked plant.
Restocking works best on a standing cadence rather than emergency reorders, because a clone ordered the day the shelf empties is still six weeks away. Tell us your turn rate and we will build a schedule around it.
Rough numbers are fine at this stage. We would rather have an honest estimate than a precise one you revise twice.
We will not promise a 20,000 plant order in three weeks, and we do not guarantee what happens after the delivery is signed for. Anything we cannot do, we will say so when you first email us rather than the week before your plant date.
Email wholesale@thecloneemporium.com with the list above and we will come back with a quote and a schedule. Commercial enquiries do not go through the retail cart, and the $200 retail minimum does not apply to them.
